• To donate items: To donate items to SFTS for our apartments or our yard sales, or to donate a vehicle (that will pass inspection) please contact the executive director at (603) 532-8222.

Gift Idea: 

We also have "gift cards" available. What a wonderful way this is to honor friends and family for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, Mother's Day, Father's Day,...while at the same time reaching out a helping hand to community members who need it !

• Instead of buying a gift for a friend or family member, you can donate any amount of money to Shelter From The Storm in the recipient's name.
  

  • The recipient will receive a nice card indicating that the amount has been donated in their name.

  
  

Volunteering: 

Volunteers at SFTS fulfill many roles, some of which are described below. If you would like to explore volunteering, please call Linda Harris at (603) 532-8222.

• Building and Needs: Prepare apartments for new guest(s) . Pick up donations; move furniture in and out of units. Got a truck, van or strong back? We always need your help!  
  

• Transportation: Guests may need transportation to meetings, appointments, work or school.

 

• Community Friends: Friendship, childcare, home management skills, stretching the grocery dollars, advocacy, and more...maybe just a cup of coffee!

  

• Special Events/Fundraising: SFTS sponsors special events - help to coordinate those events. New ideas are always welcome!

Attend Committee Meetings:

• If you are interested in attending a committee meeting, contact us to find out when the next meeting will be held.
